Two men were seriously injured in a stabbing in Mississauga Saturday evening, police say.
Peel Regional Police responded to the area of Dundas Street West and Parkerhill Road shortly after 5 p.m. following reports of an altercation and possible stabbing.
Officers arrived and found two men suffering from stab wounds. Both were taken to hospital with serious injuries and are now in stable condition.
Police say the incident followed a reported parking dispute.
Officers searched the area and located one of the suspects shortly afterward.
Ali Halimi, 30, of Mississauga, was arrested and charged with assault.
A second man, who police believe stabbed the victims and may be in possession of the knife, remains outstanding and is wanted for attempted murder.
He is described as Middle Eastern, approximately 25 to 35 years old, with a thin build, medium complexion, thinning brown hair and an unshaven appearance.
Investigators say he was last seen wearing a black hoodie, black Nike sweatpants, a black cross-body bag and white and grey Air Jordan shoes with a black logo.

The suspect should be considered armed and dangerous, police say. Members of the public are advised not to approach him and to call 911 immediately if he is seen.
