A 45-year-old woman is facing charges following a disturbance involving a walker and a driver on the main road through Gambo late last week.
Glovertown RCMP received numerous calls about an incident on J.R. Smallwood Boulevard around 10:00 a.m. on Thursday.
The woman involved in the altercation allegedly made threats against another person with a weapon in hand.
There were no injuries.
The accused is facing charges of assault with a weapon and uttering threats.
She was released on conditions to appear in court at a later date.
