LETTER: I’m glad ICE is cracking down at the Canada-U.S. border

I was somewhat baffled by a recent letter writer who complained of “armed ICE agents” patrolling cars entering Canada from the U.S.
What planet is this person from? Are they not aware that hundreds of thousands of violent criminals are being deported from the U.S. from among the 11 million migrants who swarmed across Joe Biden’s open borders? Does he not think there are likely millions of violent criminals who would love to sneak into Canada now that the U.S. is no longer a “sanctuary”? They might be able to easily integrate with the foreign mobsters already present here who are committing extortionist shootings almost every night.
Personally, I’m glad ICE is doing its job and nabbing potential rapists and murderers before they enter Canada. I only wish our own immigration authorities had as much authority to crack down on criminal immigrants as does American law enforcement.
