Another standout performance has earned Saskatchewan Roughriders wide receiver KeeSean Johnson recognition from the CFL.
On Tuesday, Johnson was named one of the league’s Players of the Week for his efforts in Saturday’s 28-24 victory over the Toronto Argonauts.
The 29-year-old hauled in 10 passes for 146 yards and a touchdown. Two of his receptions went for more than 30 yards, while three moved the chains on second down.

With injuries to key receivers Kian Schaffer-Baker and Samuel Emilus, Johnson has emerged as a consistent offensive threat for the Green and White.
He currently ranks second on the team with 77 receptions, while sitting third in receiving yards with 990 and receiving touchdowns with seven.
Johnson has been no stranger to league recognition this season. This marks the third time he has been named a CFL Player of the Week.
BC Lions running back Zander Horvath and Winnipeg Blue Bombers quarterback Zach Collaros were also recognized for their performances in Week 13.
The Roughriders will return to action Sunday when they host the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in a key Western Division matchup. Saskatchewan enters the game with a two-point advantage over both Winnipeg and the BC Lions for second place in the division.
