Angel Reese entered the WNBA in 2024 after being one of the most prolific rebounders in women’s college basketball.
As a sophomore at Maryland, Reese averaged 17.8 points and 10.6 rebounds per game, becoming the first Terrapin to average a double-double since Angie Scott in 1975. Reese then averaged 14.4 rebounds in two seasons at LSU, the most in SEC history.
Reese, a 6-foot-4 forward, continued her dominance on the boards as a pro, leading the WNBA in rebounding in 2024 (13.1) and 2025 (12.6). During the 2026 season, Reese broke the WNBA single-game rebounding record with 26 in a win against the Los Angeles Sparks.
Also in 2026, Reese broke the WNBA single-season records for most rebounds and most double-doubles.
