NBA 2K27 isn’t just another run-of-the-mill, ordinary game release this year, especially with the groundbreaking new DLSS 5 with 3D-Guided Neural Rendering on PC. Before we get too deep into that, though, let’s talk about the actual game itself.
Me personally? I’m more of an old-school, arcade-style sports guy, but 2K Sports may have a new fan. I was pretty blown away not only by the spit-shine polish but also by the massive amount of quality content, both classic and current NBA lineups. The number of game modes and career options is also staggering in the best of ways.
Now, some of that comes with the modern annoyances: online accounts, even though an offline mode is available, and lots of menus to navigate, a bit of bloat. But those are minor compared to the towering achievements present in this game. I’ve been away from the series for years, and I was oh so glad to return. This is basketball at its finest!
