A commercial building roof was torn off in Brampton during the storm on Wednesday evening.
The severe thunderstorm slammed the Greater Toronto Area Wednesday, bringing torrential rain and large hail. Environment and Climate Change Canada issued tornado warnings in southern Ontario.
Winds were moving quickly to the east at over 100 km/h, with wind gusts upwards of 110 km/h possible.
Trees were knocked down, roads closed and power outages reported.
In Brampton, strong winds ripped off parts of a roof on Williams Parkway.
Multiple videos show debris scattered on the roadway, and emergency vehicles blocking the roads.
Peel Regional Police Const. Tyler Bell-Morena told INsauga.com that they received a call for the incident at 4:45 p.m.
The commercial building is a moulding business at Williams Parkway and Automatic Road, Bell-Morena said.
No injuries reported.

Police stayed on scene for traffic control as there was a lot of debris on the roadway, he said.
The roads were cleared and reopened by 2:05 a.m., he added.
Dangerous conditions were reported on Southdown Road and Bromsgrove Road in Mississauga during the storms.
There was flooding under the bridge and Bromsgrove Road has been closed from Southdown Road to Winston Churchill Boulevard.
All roads had reopened by Thursday morning, Bell-Morena said.
Researchers are investigating if any tornadoes touched down in other parts of the province on Wednesday.
Western University’s Northern Tornadoes Project, which investigates severe weather events in Canada, said most of the damage being reported occurred from Bayfield to Cambridge.
