The pedestrain sustained life-threatening injuries after being hit in the Adelaide Street West and Brant Street area
A pedestrian was seriously injured on Friday morning after they were struck by a garbage truck in Toronto’s Entertainment District.
Police said the collision occurred in the Adelaide Street West and Brant Street area around 9:45 a.m.
Emergency services are currently at the scene.
Paramedics told TorontoToday the pedestrian sustained life-threatening injuries.
Drivers in the area should expect traffic delays and have been encouraged by police to use alternative routes.
Eastbound lanes of Adelaide Street West are closed.
