Enes Kanter Freedom continues to push his plans for a WNBA debut in 2027, and he already has a potential teammate in mind.

“I will be playing in 2027, and I will be the best draft pick the WNBA has ever seen,” he said during a recent appearance on Fox News, per an X clip posted by MeidasTouch.com’s senior digital editor, Acyn. “Me and Caitlin Clark will be the modern-day Shaq and Kobe.”

This isn’t the first time Freedom has said this. After his NBA career ended in 2022, the now 34-year-old has promoted himself as a 2027 WNBA draft pick throughout this August.

In mid-August, he expressed the desire to join the Indiana Fever and play alongside Clark for the first time.
