PREVIOUSLY AT A-GA-MING RESORT

This will mark the fourth straight season Bradley has opened its campaign at the A-Ga-Ming Invitational.

Last year, Bradley took second place as a team at 881, eight strokes behind team champions Bowling Green. Caroline McConnell carded a one-under-par 215 to finish tied for third, while Alyssa Mixon finished ninth at 220 with two 71s. Jillian Cosler (T11), Allison Pacocha (T20) and Peyton Coburn (T20) also logged top 20 finishes.

Historically, Bradley has been very successful at the A-Ga-Ming Invitational. The Braves have recorded team finishes of third, first and second place in three trips to Kewadin prior to this season. Most notably, Bradley swept the team and individual titles in 2024, winning the team title by six strokes over Bowling Green while Caroline McConnell earned her first career tournament win.

PREVIEWING THE 2026-27 SEASON

The offseason was headlined by the appointment of former IUPUI standout Kara Blair as the newest head coach of Bradley Women’s Golf, filling the role after seven-year coach Halley Morell was hired as an assistant coach at Nebraska. This weekend’s tournament will be the first under Blair’s leadership, who is only the fourth head coach of the program since 1997.

Five golfers return from last season: seniors Jillian Cosler and Brooke Deebs, juniors Peyton Coburn and Alyssa Mixon, and sophomore Addi Jennings. The five returners bring a bevy of experience, as they combine for 237 rounds played and 13 top 10s in their careers.

Two newcomers join the Braves for the 2026-27 season: freshman Meredith Finger and junior transfer Allison Seitz. Finger, who hails from Wilmington, Del., was a four-time All-Conference and All-State golfer during her career at Archeme Academy in Claymont, Del. She capped her high school career with winning the Delaware State Golf Championship in her senior season, and she helped Archmere Academy win a pair of state titles during her tenure. Seitz joins after spending two seasons at Seminole State College in Sanford, Fla., where she helped the Raiders finish second in the NJCAA Division I Championship in 2025 and take third in 2026. She finished her sophomore year ranked #30 in all of NJCAA Division I and #18 regionally while earning the Cheryl Anderson Award.
