A man in his 70s sustained life-altering injuries after the motorcycle he was riding collided with another vehicle.

Winnipeg police responded to a collision around 4 p.m. Friday near the intersection of McPhillips Street and Selkirk Avenue.

The motorcyclist — a man in his 70s — was taken to hospital in unstable condition.

He was later upgraded to stable, but sustained “life-altering injuries,” police told CityNews.

A man in his 40s was driving the other vehicle. Police say he stayed at the scene of the accident and spoke with officers

The traffic division is investigating the incident.
