What: Baseball is Back #AtTheNat! Join the Vancouver Canadians at Nat Bailey Stadium for NWLCS Games 1 and 2 and cheer on the future of the Blue Jays as they face the Eugene Emeralds.

What: Richmond Farm Fest returns to the Garden City Lands on Sunday, September 13, bringing food, farming and community together for a free, family-friendly celebration.
Explore the Farmers Market, local food and beverages, hands- on agriculture and garden activities and Farm Wagon Tours. Enjoy live music, culinary demonstrations from Black + Blue Executive Chef Jonathan Lee, and the Little Farmers Kids’ Zone.

What: Burnaby Central Railway is welcoming passengers to climb aboard its 3-km track near Confederation Park every weekend until this fall. Your ride will take you across tunnels, bridges and viaducts. And while you’re there, stop by the ever-growing Garden Railway.
British Columbia Society of Model Engineers (BCSME) built and operates the mini railway, with three different types of locomotives pulling the rideable trains.

What: After its sold-out debut, Vancouver’s Hoagie Half is returning in September, inviting teams of four to participate in a truly unique half marathon relay.
The event is a 21 km relay race and a sandwich food tour of some of the city’s best independent sandwich shops. Each runner will tackle one leg of the marathon, racing to a sandwich shop, grabbing a sandwich, and taking it back to base.

Vancouver Fringe Festival
What: Vancouver Fringe Festival returns to Granville Island and beyond from Sept. 10 to 20, 2026, embracing every kind of everything. This year, there will be more than 80 shows, two days of free Kids Fringe events, and the return of the free Fringe Patio music series from September 5 to 20. Tickets and information are available online.

What: The fifth annual stɑl’əw̓ Pow Wow returns to Langley Events Centre from Sept. 11 to 13, inviting people of all ages and backgrounds to experience Indigenous culture through singing, dancing, drumming, food, art, and community.
The three-day celebration brings together Indigenous communities from across the region and beyond, with more than 500 dancers participating in Saturday’s Grand Entry.
Highlights include welcome ceremonies, Indigenous artists and food vendors, an all-women’s drum group competition, Coast Salish dancers and singers, hoop dancers, youth performers, and more.

What: FloFest, produced by Flohaus Pilates, takes place on Sept. 12 from 3 to 7:30 p.m. at Thunderbird Stadium. The event is described as one day to “slow down, move together, and feel something real.”

Picklefest Vancouver
What: Picklefest — Canada’s biggest pickle festival — is taking over City Centre Artist Lodge at 2111 Main St. for one day only in September.
Festivities include a bustling marketplace made up of dozens of vendors serving pickles by the jar, on a stick, and other pickle-inspired eats and beverages.
That’ll be paired with plenty of live entertainment, pickle-themed paraphernalia, and the star of the show, the festival’s annual home pickling contest, where an elite group of amateur picklers will walk away with prizes and infinite glory for their fermented food creations.

The pumpkin patch at Maan Farms is open daily until Halloween. With live entertainment, a zip line, barnyard animals, a corn maze, a fortress, and so much more, this should definitely be on your “fall things to do” list. For thrill-seekers, Maan Farms also serves up the Halloween Fright Festival from Oct. 2 to 31.

What: You think hecklers are tough? Try doing a stand-up set with period cramps.
A handful of cis-male comics will experience periods live on stage during That Show (time) of the Month while trying to do comedy at the Vancouver Fringe. Cory Lupovici (JFL Vancouver) and Alannah Brittany (CBC Gem) will be challenging male comics by hooking them up to a period cramp simulator while they deliver their sets.
Each show will also feature a female comedian headliner who is experienced with battling cramps and delivering punchlines at the same time.

What: Legendary ’90s rock band Weezer is coming to Vancouver later this year, and they’ve got some very special guests coming for the ride.
Weezer will be hitting the stage at Rogers Arena on Sept. 12, and with them will be The Shins and Silversun Pickups, who are fairly big names in their own right.
Tickets for the all-ages show entitled “Weezer: The Gathering” are on sale now.

What: The free Fringe Patio music series, located at Ocean Artworks on Granville Island, is a showcase of local musicians and artists running from Sept. 10 to 20 during the Vancouver Fringe.

Museum of Surrey
What: The Museum of Surrey is hosting its annual Filipino Fest on Saturday, Sept. 12, with live performances, food vendors, children’s activities, and more.
According to the museum, it is an opportunity for guests to reconnect with their roots or learn about Filipino culture for the first time.

What: Polish Festival Vancouver returns to The Shipyards on the North Shore this weekend, so get ready to “Smacznego!”
North Shore Polish Association Belweder presents the lively festivities on Saturday, Sept. 12 in Lower Lonsdale. The popular annual event features live entertainment, a marketplace, and plenty of mouthwatering dishes.

What: The Richmond Night Market is returning this month, and with it, it’ll be bringing the world’s first night market zipline, an all-new Trading Card Zone, and over 500 food items to try.
The theme for this year’s market is “Little Wonder World,” which the market describes as a “dazzling, globe-trotting adventure filled with iconic landmark decorations, vibrant displays, and a stunning themed wall designed for unforgettable moments.” There will also be a giant soccer display.

What: Vancouver Orphan Kitten Rescue Association, better known as VOKRA, is hosting a 5 km fun walk. The popular annual fundraiser raises funds to support the no-kill, registered non-profit cat rescue organization in rescuing, healing and finding new loving homes for over 1,200 cats and kittens every year.
