Vancouver FC is back on the win side of the ledger, with a 3-2 comeback victory over Supra du Quebec Sunday afternoon on home field at The Stadium at Langley Events Centre.

Quebec scored twice to lead 2-0, but then scored an own goal to make it 2-1. At 43 minutes, Vancouver FC forward Lys Mousset made it 2-1.

In the second half, Eagles defender Thierno Bah scored what would prove to be the game winner at 72 minutes.

It was a welcome win after three consecutive defeats for Vancouver FC. After a 4-0 loss in Ottawa, Vancouver fell 1-0 to Halifax Wanderers before suffering another 1-0 defeat away to Cavalry FC.

Notably, all three defeats came on the road.

At home, Vancouver FC has not lost since May 17, when they fell to Cavalry FC. Since then, Vancouver has gone eight matches unbeaten on home soil, recording six wins and two draws.

Saturday’s win maintains the Eagles grip on the final playoff spot.
