Trash time: Join in a waterfront cleanup in White Rock Sunday
Published 1:00 pm Tuesday, September 8, 2026
Looking for something to do this Sunday in White Rock?
Why not join the Lower Mainland Green Team for a waterfront cleanup?
The City of White Rock posted about the litter-focused community event on X, encouraging people to register for the event, and to “make new friends & help prevent pollution from reaching our oceans.”
Interested volunteers can register online with the LMGT.
Previously scheduled for Aug. 16, the date changed to Sunday, Sept. 13, the LMGT registering page noted.
The cleanup happens from 9:45 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Registered volunteers will meet beside the public washrooms at Oxford Street and Marine Drive.
No experience is needed, all ages are welcome, and the event will run, rain or shine.
