The Metro Vancouver Croissant Crawl is back for its fifth year with 37 vendors offering limited edition croissants across the Lower Mainland.
With an earlier than usual return, this year, between Sept. 25 and Oct. 4 croissant enthusiasts are invited to choose their own flaky adventure and enjoy a self guided tour in sampling the multitude of special creations.
There will be two Surrey vendors participating and offering limited edition croissants.
Fresh St. Market (Fleetwood Surrey and Panorama Surrey)
• Crème Brûlée Croissant
This croissant creation is said to be an all-butter croissant filled with rich French bavarian cream and finished with a brûléed topping of torched sugar, creating a crisp, caramelized crust. These croissants are baked daily and offered at both locations.
Sweet Revenge Bakery & Cafe
• Sweet Corn Croissant
This sweet and savoury creation is said to be celebrating Korean Corn Cheese. The croissant is made with corn custard cream, corn chiffon and “scrumptious” amount of shredded cheese and topped with grilled corn.
• Croissant Cloud Cold Brew
This beverage is in partnership with the croissant crawl feature. It is a nitro cold brew topped with butter croissant foam, topped with Maldon salt and a petite croissant. This drink is also available as a matcha beverage.
A release sent by the organizers of the Croissant Crawl states that walk-in quantities are limited at most locations and pre-ordering is highly recommended where available to avoid any disappointment.
For attendees seeking route suggestions, the event organizers have introduced a new curated list of ‘Taste-Off’ challenges. These are head-to-head matchups showcasing unique shared ingredients from participating vendors.
This year there will also be two judges to make their “Most Creative Croissant” selection. The panel of judges includes Alex Kim, renowned chef and Five Sails Restaurant co-owner, and Carson Ting, official FIFA World Cup 2026 artist and chairman Ting Founder.
The event website features a print-at-home passport which will allow crawlers to collect stamps at each stop they visit for a chance to win “croissant cash.” Attendees are also being encouraged to vote online to help crown this year’s “Fan Favourite Flavour.”
New this year, the crawl has extended to Langley with three participating vendors.
Attendees can visit the event website and Instagram account for more information, the full vendor map, and detailed flavour lineup.
