A nice diving catch by Cooper Kupp on a desperate under-pressure heave by Drew Lock on third-and-4 was good for 24 yards and set Seattle up in the red zone.
Kupp then appeared to secured a touchdown pass from Lock, but an illegal motion penalty negated it, and the Seahawks settled for a field goal for their first points of the season.
New England leads, 10-3 with 3:13 remaining in the third quarter.
