One person has been transported to hospital, and police have closed traffic on a busy Brampton street following a crash between multiple vehicles and a police cruiser.
The multi-vehicle collision happened around 10 a.m. on Wednesday in the area of Bramalea Road and Avondale Boulevard, Peel Regional Police say. A Peel police vehicle and two other vehicles were involved in the crash, and one male victim was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries as a precaution, police say.
Police have closed Bramalea Road to southbound traffic in the area, and Avondale Boulevard has been closed in both directions. Drivers should expect delays and avoid the area if possible.
