Goaltender Connor Ingram announced his retirement on Instagram on Friday.
Ingram, 29, was acquired by the Edmonton Oilers prior to last season from the Utah Mammoth and went 16-10-3 with an .899 save percentage and 2.60 goals-against average.
He went on to go 2-3 in the playoffs with an .876 save percentage and 3.86 GAA before the Oilers were eliminated in the first round.
The 6-foot-1 netminder came off a three-year, $5.85 million contract that carried a cap hit of $1.15 million.
Drafted 88th overall by the Tampa Bay Lightning in 2016, Ingram has a career 55-54-18 record with a .901 save percentage and 3.01 GAA split between the Nashville Predators, Arizona Coyotes, Mammoth, and Oilers.
