TULSA, Okla. –
QuikTrip employees spent Friday volunteering at GRAND Mental Health as part of the company’s annual Day of Caring, completing improvement projects and supporting the organization’s outreach efforts.
QuikTrip volunteers help at GRAND facilities
At GRAND’s Addiction Recovery Center, volunteers mulched flower beds, painted walls and built benches.
QuikTrip employees also painted colorful murals on GRAND’s children’s floor, helping create a more welcoming environment for children and their families.

Volunteers also support outreach efforts
The volunteer work extended beyond GRAND’s facilities. QuikTrip employees delivered sandwiches to GRAND’s outreach team to distribute to people experiencing homelessness.
GRAND Mental Health said the projects help create more welcoming spaces for the people it serves.
“These acts of kindness may seem simple, but they make a lasting difference,” GRAND Mental Health said in a social media post.
The organization thanked QuikTrip for selecting GRAND as a recipient of its annual Day of Caring and for contributing time and resources to the community.
