David Beckham has spent much of 2026 quietly—and cheerfully—working his way through the Tudor watch catalog.

At this summer’s World Cup he wore everything from the bright-yellow Black Bay Chrono 39 “Bumblebee” to the blue Black Bay 54, while Wimbledon brought out the Black Bay 58.

Now, at the Madrid Formula 1 Grand Prix, he’s gone dark.

The former England captain was spotted this weekend wearing the Tudor Black Bay Ceramic, 41mm of almost uninterrupted black-on-black action, from its ceramic case and bezel to its dial and bracelet.

It’s a particularly appropriate choice for F1. Tudor has been experimenting with ceramic for more than a decade, beginning with the Fastrider Black Shield in 2013, while a blue version of the Black Bay Ceramic was originally created for its Visa Cash App RB Formula 1 partnership in 2024.

Tudor.

The latest version, unveiled this year, is the one enthusiasts had been asking for. The original Black Bay Ceramic arrived in 2021 and won a GPHG award but came on a hybrid leather-and-rubber strap. For 2026, Tudor finally added a full ceramic bracelet.

It has also slimmed the case from 14.4mm to 13.6mm.

Beckham is, of course, a Tudor ambassador. He’s paid to wear this stuff! Still, if you’re going to wear a slick dark suit to an F1 race, we can think of few better watches with which to finish the look.
