One of Cloverdale’s newest businesses is hosting an open house and a charity car wash.
CARSTAR Collision and Glass will hold the event Sept. 19 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
“Guests are invited to an open house celebration featuring a charity car wash with participation from a local youth team, music and entertainment from Rock 101, a food truck, and a ribbon-cutting ceremony,” Keely Pampell, communications coordinator, told the Cloverdale Reporter via email.
The open house is being held to say thanks to CARSTAR Cloverdale’s initial customers and welcome the community. The business opened several months ago on 56A Avenue.
Pampell added money raised through the charity car wash will go to support Cystic Fibrosis Canada and Surrey United Soccer Club. Surrey United plays out of Cloverdale Athletic Park.
CARSTAR is North America’s largest network of independently owned and operated collision repair facilities, with more than 800 locations across over 40 states and 10 Canadian provinces.
The CARSTAR network is also known for its charitable work, raising north of $6 million to date for cystic fibrosis research, care, and advocacy across North America.
CARSTAR Cloverdale is located at 17511 56A Avenue.
