Apollon Nutrition has no shortage of intense pre-workouts, although the performance-focused Lionheart remains our favorite from the three-time Brand Of The Year. That made it the natural choice for our first-ever collaboration with the hardcore brand and now our second. We’ve once again teamed up with Apollon for Lionheart Champion’s Edition, where we got to choose the flavor, like our Passionfruit Pineapple Strawberry Lionheart, and we made some formula tweaks this time too.
Lionheart Champion’s Edition from Apollon Nutrition, collaborated on with yours truly, adds 5g of creatine to the formula, taking care of your daily dose of the ingredient, and it doubles the pump and performance-powering betaine to 5g. To further fuel those two benefits, we’ve also added 900mg of FungIQ, 508mg of VasoDrive-AP, and 450mg of Peak ATP, really trying to further Lionheart’s signature focus of better performance and endurance.
The core features of the regular Lionheart pre-workout are still very much there, including 3.2g of the ever-present performance-supporting beta-alanine, 3g of taurine, the proven Senactiv at 100mg, and a solid 1g of GPCgold alpha-gpc to enhance focus. We also got to pump up the caffeine a bit to our preferred amount of 400mg, versus the original’s 300mg from natural caffeine and zumXR.
Again, the result is a broader performance formula while maintaing a lot of the pump and focus portions of the pre-workout, and a good amount of additional caffeine-fueled energy. There is more to celebrate in the Champion’s Edition too, hence the name, as it was this year that Apollon Nutrition became our first three-time Brand Of The Year.
