A Silver Alert has been issued for a missing 73-year-old man last seen on Monday afternoon, Winnipeg police say.
Munir Ahmed was last seen in the Logan-C.P.R. neighbourhood around 3 p.m. Monday, police said in an alert late Tuesday.
Ahmed is described as bald, five feet and 10 inches tall, with a medium build and brown eyes.
He was last seen wearing a black windbreaker jacket, an off-white coloured shirt, blue jeans and black runners. He may also be carrying a black backpack and using a cane.
Silver Alerts are issued when a vulnerable adult person is reported missing.
Police say they’re concerned for Ahmed’s well being and ask that anyone with information on his whereabouts contact the missing persons unit at 204-986-6250.
