Father and son duo Mark and Blake Fletcher are pleased to announce that they are the new owner-operators of Butter Gallery in Collingwood, Ont., effective Sept. 1, 2026.
The Fletchers opened Cloud Gallery in Orillia in 2021 and quickly became one of the premier galleries in Ontario, as well as the regional gallery of Simcoe-Muskoka. With the addition of Butter Gallery, the Fletchers will build upon the gallery’s 11-year history and established presence in the Collingwood arts community.
“We are thrilled about this exciting opportunity in Downtown Collingwood, where we will be building upon the success that Butter Gallery has enjoyed,” said Mark and Blake Fletcher, owners of Butter Gallery. “With the addition of Butter Gallery and its incredible roster of artists, we will be bringing our focus on business excellence, customer service and innovation to everything we do at Butter Gallery, just as we have been doing for the last 5 1/2 years at Cloud Gallery. We think this is a huge opportunity for our artists, our clients and, of course, the Collingwood community, which is such a great supporter of the arts. We’d also like to acknowledge founder Andrea Rinaldo’s dedication and determination over the last 11 years and her role as such a driving force for the arts in Collingwood.”
Plans are being made for an opening celebration in the near future at the Downtown gallery, where Butter Gallery clients, artists, and the Collingwood community will be invited to celebrate this new chapter. In the meantime, Mark and Blake Fletcher encourage people to drop by or engage with Butter Gallery online. The gallery’s new website is now live, with more information, events, and announcements to come.
