A serious, two-vehicle crash involving a dump truck has closed an intersection north of Brampton on Friday morning.
Emergency crews responded to Dixie Road and King Street in Caledon, the Ontario Provincial Police said on X at 6:32 a.m.
A passenger vehicle and dump truck collided at the intersection, police said.
King Street is closed between Heart Lake Road and Bramalea Road; Dixie Road is closed between Boston Mills Road and Old School Road following the serious collision, police said.
Police said the closure is expected to be lengthy and asked drivers to avoid the area and use alternate routes.
