Kyle Larson will lead the field to green in Saturday night’s Bass Pro Shops Night Race at Bristol Motor Speedway after lightning forced the cancellation of NASCAR Cup Series qualifying Friday. Under NASCAR’s rulebook, the starting lineup was set by the performance metric formula, awarding the pole to Larson in the No. 5 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet.
Joey Logano will start alongside Larson on the front row in the No. 22 Ford, while Denny Hamlin and William Byron make up Row 2.
Green flag for tomorrow night’s Bass Pro Shop Night Race is scheduled for just at 7:30 p.m. ET on USA Network.
