TORONTO — Week 16 has come and gone, and even with just three games on the schedule, there were still plenty of big plays and outstanding individual performances.

From a quarterback playing clean football to a defender making life miserable for the opposition, to a receiver moving the chains, here are three PFF stats that stand out from Week 16.

DAVIS ALEXANDER | QUARTERBACK | MONTREAL ALOUETTES | 0 TURNOVER WORTHY PLAYS

Davis Alexander led his Alouettes to their 11th win of the season in Hamilton last Friday, connecting on 77.8 per cent of his passes for 218 yards and two touchdowns.

Alexander played clean football against the Ticats, recording no turnover worthy plays in the contest, according to PFF.

ADARIUS PICKETT | LINEBACKER | TORONTO ARGONAUTS | 8 PRESSURES

Adarius Pickett was a force for the Toronto Argonauts defence in Week 16. The team’s SAM linebacker registered a knockdown and a sack in the contest to go along with 13 defensive tackles.

He was disrupting Cody Fajardo all day long, tallying eight pressures in the game, three more than the next player, Elks defensive lineman Noah Taylor, according to PFF. Pickett’s pressures were particularly impressive considering he was coming from the second level of the Argos’ defence to disrupt the Elks’ passing game.

JUSTIN HARDY | RECEIVER | OTTAWA REDBLACKS | 6 RECEIVING FIRST DOWNS

Justin Hardy was McLeod Bethel-Thompson’s favourite target on Saturday, with the REDBLACKS’ quarterback targeting Hardy 19 times in their team’s loss.

Hardy hauled in 12 of those passes for 129 yards and a touchdown. It wasn’t just the volume of targets that stood out for the pass-catcher, as six of his catches moved the chains for first downs, according to PFF.
