The Stampeders look to pull within two points of the top spot in the West with a victory over the visiting Saskatchewan Roughriders Saturday night at McMahon Stadium. The Red and White enter the Week 12 contest with a 6-3 record and in second place in the West Division following a last second 28-27 win over Winnipeg two weeks ago before enjoying a bye last weekend. Vernon Adams Jr. threw for 300 yards and two touchdowns in the win against the Bombers.

2. Them

The Roughriders enter this this week as the top team in the CFL at 8-1. Their lone loss came to the Stampeders back in Week 6. Last week, the Riders dismantled Hamilton by a 29-9 score.

This is the final meeting between the two this year. The Riders would need to win by 15 in order to grab the season series.

Roughriders: QB Trevor Harris: Harris threw for 425 yards and one touchdown in the first meeting of the season. The veteran QB has a CFL best 75.5% pass completion percentage among quarterbacks with five or more starts and has thrown for 16 touchdowns.

7. Quotable

“We know they like to establish the run and then rely on Trevor and his timing to be productive. So, we have to stop the run and that will takeaway part of their identity and then of course affect Trevor the best we can. We trust our defensive backs on the backend to do their job, up front we have to do what we have to do.” – DL Miles Brown on shutting down Trevor Harris the Riders offence.
