Neumann has introduced the KK 104 A (cardioid) and KK 105 A (supercardioid) wireless capsule heads, succeeding the KK 204 and KK 205. The new capsules are compatible with Sennheiser wireless systems including the Digital 6000 series, Digital 9000 series, Evolution Wireless Digital, and Spectera.

Both capsules feature Neumann’s transformerless FET capsule design and a new mechanical structure that reduces handling noise. The KK 104 A and KK 105 A are available in matte black and champagne finishes.

“The new capsules continue Neumann’s long tradition of setting the standard for natural, detailed sound capture,” says Christoph Wagner, Product Manager, Neumann. “Developing a capsule for wireless use brings specific engineering challenges — particularly around handling noise — and we’ve applied considerable effort to advance what’s possible for live performance environments. The KK 104 A and KK 105 A deliver the Neumann sound in a capsule optimized for the demands of modern wireless systems.”

The KK 104 A and KK 105 A are available now.
