On Wednesday night, four teams’ regular seasons will come to an end. Some have one last chance to gear up for the postseason, while one team looks well on its way to a quiet offseason.
First, the New York Liberty will again host Angel Reese and the Atlanta Dream at the Barclays Center. Angel Reese and her side took Monday’s contest there, but the Liberty look poised for revenge.
To close out the two-game slate, Paige Bueckers and her Dallas Wings side will put an end to the Seattle Storm’s miserable 2026 campaign.
With the WNBA postseason drawing closer and closer, there’s still time to get in on the league’s action. New users can bet $5 on the WNBA and get $200 in Bonus Bets instantly at DraftKings Sportsbook.
The Sporting News outlines everything you need to know about Wednesday’s slate of action, including odds, predictions, expert picks and more.

Liberty vs. Dream prediction
Despite their high standings in the WNBA, the victor to emerge from the Liberty and Dream’s previous bouts enjoyed a double-digit win margin; in their final meeting of the season on Wednesday night, that should change. Before Atlanta’s 95-84 win over New York on Monday, the two sides hadn’t met since June 11. Now that they have recent game film to analyze, they should have each other’s number in the final game of their season.
Both the Liberty and Dream would love to close out the season with the win, as the current WNBA playoff picture is jam-packed. Tuesday night’s action did shift some things around, but a victory in their own game would help control the winning team’s destiny.
On Monday, the Liberty shot well below their 3P FG% average for the season (35.2%, 4th) en route to their 11-point loss. Marine Johannes notably went 0-for-5 and was held scoreless. The French guard is known for her three-point ability, and if she’s not hitting her shots, it’s hard for New York to win. The Liberty’s bench should return to action revitalized on Wednesday night after scoring just eight of the team’s 84 points in their latest loss.
Take New York to end their 2026 regular season with a narrow win in front of their home fans.
Prediction: Liberty 92, Dream 88

Liberty vs. Dream best bet
Jones’ rebounding numbers have been sporadic as of late, but one of the league’s best board-grabbers is never a bad addition to one’s betslip. She averages the 6th-most rebounds in the WNBA (9.0) and has consistently played well against Atlanta this season. In both contests against the Dream, Jones has dropped a double-double through efforts including 12 and 10 rebound outings. Atlanta and New York are both top-three in terms of rebounds across the league, and the battles down low should be quite the watch tonight.
Reese gets a lot of buzz for her high number of rebounds (12.3 RPG, 1st in WNBA), but she hasn’t seemed to drastically bother Jones this season. In both matchups this season, the Liberty forward actually out-rebounded Reese. A final statline of nine or more rebounds is well within reach for Jones, and there’s no reason not to consider taking this bet.

Storm vs. Wings prediction
The 2026 campaign was a rough one for Seattle, as they are set to finish with their franchise’s worst record since their inaugural season back in 2000. Outside of Dominique Malonga, Flau’jae Johnson, and Natisha Hiedeman, there isn’t much talent on this Storm side. In five of their last six games, the green and yellow-donning side lost by 13 points or more, with Johnson shedding tears after the team’s most recent loss.
Outside of their matchup on June 22, Dallas has emerged victorious by 22 points or more in their other two games against Seattle. The Storm do have the luxury of playing in front of their home crowd one last time, which is where they lost to the Wings by only two points, but that may not be enough to push them over the edge. Dallas has been playing well lately, with wins in six of their last seven games, and they are well-rounded in both offensive and defensive categories.
Prediction: Wings 89, Seattle 75

Storm vs. Wings best bet
With how well Dallas has been playing as of late, it’s hard to imagine them keeping this game close. They beat Seattle by 22 points on Aug. 23, and compiled three more double-digit wins in a row after that game. Bueckers and Co. are coming off a slim one-point loss to the Phoenix Mercury on Monday night thanks to Kahleah Copper’s layup with 2.4 left in the fourth quarter. This could make them even more dangerous tonight.
The Storm would want to give their home crowd a valiant effort before their offseason begins, but Dallas doesn’t have to entertain that. They are the much better side in this contest, and they’ll demonstrate that with what could be a wire-to-wire win. Take the Wings to end their season with yet another win with a double-digit cushion.
