Electronics giant shifts focus to media and entertainment instead

TOKYO — Japan’s Sony Group will sit out of the 2027 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Nevada after 60 years of participation, reflecting the Japanese electronics giant’s shift in focus to entertainment, such as games and music.
