Former NBA player Enes Kanter has decided to speak ‘directly’ to all 217 WNBA players.

Despite the WNBA hardly paying attention to Enes Kanter, the former NBA player has continued to take shots at the league.

Be it declaring for the 2027 WNBA Draft or wearing a controversial T-shirt during a game, Kanter refuses to back down.

And why? Well, he once again explained this in a recent X post, where he wrote a message to all 217 players in the league.

Kanter has been pretty clear about what he wants from the WNBA – only biologically female athletes to play. Now, even though some top WNBA figures have defended transgender athletes’ rights.

As of now, no transgender athlete is an active player in the W. But that didn’t stop Kanter from calling out the soon-to-be retired WNBA Commissioner, Cathy Engelbert.

“There are 217 WNBA players in the league, and now I’m speaking directly to all of you. I’m astonished. You play in a league and have a commissioner who cannot and will not define your gender and is embarrassing you in front of the entire world.

“… They’re trying to figure out how to define a woman in a way that fits their nonsense agenda,” Kanter wrote on X.

He continued, “Deep down, I believe you don’t want a biological male entering your league and taking your minutes, your money, your endorsements, and your dignity.

“Are you all really that afraid of cancel culture that you would rather sacrifice your morals, values, and principles for money?”

Kanter also claimed that if NBA Commissioner Adam Silver comes out and says he can’t define what a man is, it’ll immediately cause massive outrage among players.

“… The real threat to women’s sports is not the one asking the question. It’s the silence of the women who refuse to answer it,” Kanter added.

The ex-NBA center concluded his message by demanding that WNBA players ‘open your eyes’ and listen to him, as he is not their enemy.
