Status Report
Guhle, a defenseman, is expected to miss up to 10 games after having offseason adductor muscle surgery… Kapanen, a forward, is day to day… Maple Leafs general manager John Chayka said Marchenko, acquired Monday in a trade with the Columbus Blue Jackets, would play if his immigration status is sorted out. Toronto coach Jim Hiller would not say who would play if Marchenko can’t … Joshua, a forward, has begun skating but will be out week to week.
