In what was set up to be the most telling week thus far, plenty of highly anticipated weekend matchups were postponed because of the nor’easter.
Still, there was enough action to prompt a few shakeups in the latest Globe Top 20 girls’ soccer poll. The first movement is Concord-Carlisle’s ascension to No. 2, surpassing Bishop Feehan, which battled to a draw against out-of-state La Salle (R.I.) on Monday.
Wellesley jumps four spots to No. 5, courtesy of a dominant 4-1 win over Natick, and Hopkinton, which also beat the Redhawks, slides up to No. 6. Natick drops seven spots to No. 12.
Off to a 5-0 start, Belmont continues to rise, entering the Top 10 for the first time this season. Undefeated Acton-Boxborough moves up to No. 15. King Philip rejoins the poll after a two-week hiatus, and unbeaten Whitman-Hanson makes its introduction at No. 20.
