Recent Guideline Updates in the Management of Urinary Tract Infections

The WikiGuidelines Group, the Infectious Diseases Society of America (IDSA), the European Association of Urology (EAU), and the American Urological Association (AUA)/Canadian Urological Association (CUA)/Society of Urodynamics, Female Pelvic Medicine & Urogenital Reconstruction (SUFU) have all published guidelines or guideline updates for urinary tract infections (UTIs) with varying scopes and methodology in the last 18 months.1-5 An overview of the guideline methodology and of key insights is reviewed in the TABLE.1-4
