Rubber Soul spent a total of eight consecutive weeks at Number 1 in 1965 and was their sixth chart-topping record in all at the time. It was also recently revealed by Official Charts as the sixth most-streamed album of the 1960s.
Their last Number 1 album came back in October 2019, when Abbey Road rebounded back to the top.
With more weeks at Number 1 on the Official Albums Chart than any other act, can The Beatles roll back the years and reign supreme once again?

Looking to spoil the party are Blossoms with their anthemic LP, Songs From The Wedding Cake (2). Eyeing their fifth Number 1, it will aim to join their self-titled debut (2016), Foolish Loving Spaces (2020), Ribbon Around The Bomb (2022) and Gary (2024) in achieving this accolade.
Former The Smiths guitarist and legendary figure Johnny Marr may clinch his highest charting album to date on The Age Of Everything (3). His fifth full address will look to surpass 2022’s Fever Dreams Pts 1-4, which peaked at Number 4.
South East London’s finest Fat Dog are also tracking for a new personal best on sophomore release, Cancel Me (I’m Tired) (4). This would also be the band’s first Top 10.
There could be an Albums Chart debut for Midlands based heavy-blues cohort These Wicked Rivers on Fire and Folklore (19), as Drake‘s HABIBTI looks to re-enter the Top 40 following an expanded release of the record (20).
Finally, Swedish death metal five-piece Amon Amarth begin their campaign for a third Top 40 with The Allfather Awakens (37).
