England Boxing has revealed a bold new brand identity ahead of the 2026–2027 National Events season, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter for the organisation.

As one of the country’s oldest National Governing Bodies, England Boxing has a proud heritage and a well-established visual identity. The familiar logo remains at the heart of the brand, but has been carefully refreshed and expanded into a range of variations designed to offer greater flexibility while maintaining a strong sense of history and national pride.

The project has been developed in partnership with Field Studio, a creative agency focused on purposeful design that connects people, starts conversations and builds relationships. Led by Creative Director, Jonathan Briggs, the studio has evolved not only England Boxing’s core identity, but also the visual direction of its National Championships and events throughout the season.

A distinctive identity has been created for each major tournament, all connected by a common visual concept inspired by one of the most recognisable features of the sport: the traditional boxing ring and its four ropes. This approach gives individual competitions their own character while ensuring they remain unmistakably part of the wider England Boxing family.

A contemporary new typeface has also been introduced alongside a brighter and more varied colour palette, moving beyond the traditional red, white and grey while retaining a clear connection to England Boxing’s heritage.

Bold graphic elements, striking textures and a greater sense of movement run throughout the identity, capturing the speed, energy and excitement of amateur boxing. The refreshed approach has also been designed to strengthen the sport’s visual appeal among younger audiences and help introduce England Boxing to a new generation.

The new identity will initially be rolled out across England Boxing’s digital and social media channels, as well as the organisation’s website. A wider physical transition is planned for a later stage, including its presence at events and across England Boxing kit.

Nabillah Akhtar, Communications Manager, said: “This was an exciting opportunity to breathe new life into a brand with such a proud history. We wanted to build on everything people already know and value about us, while creating an identity that feels relevant and engaging to those discovering us for the first time.

“Finding that balance was incredibly important. The new identity gives us a clearer and more distinctive presence, bringing greater consistency across the way we look, communicate and represent ourselves. It reflects who we are today while giving us the flexibility to continue evolving in the years ahead.

“Ultimately, we wanted to create something that feels fresh, confident and recognisable, strengthens the relationship we have with our members and helps us connect with a broader audience.”
