Health and wellness-focused investment firm NDude Labs has invested USD 3 million in a Series A funding round for US-based functional wellness brand SuperMush.

The company will use the funds to expand its product portfolio, increase investment in formulations and strengthen its team and customer support infrastructure.

SuperMush has expanded its retail presence to more than 2,000 stores in the US, including over 1,000 Target stores and Sprouts locations. The company also sells through its direct-to-consumer website and Amazon.

Over the past year, SuperMush has added products including Shilajit, Creatine and Lion’s Mane gummies to its portfolio. Founded in 2022 by Alli Schaper and Brian Friedman, the company focuses on products containing nootropics, adaptogens and functional mushrooms.

The investment marks NDude Labs’ continued focus on healthcare and wellness businesses. The firm has also invested in nutraceutical ingredients company Nutriventia.
