Dancing With the Stars is obsessed with Mariah Carey, as the ballroom devoted one full night to honor the legendary singer-songwriter.
For the fourth week of competition, couples performed the Grammy winner’s beloved hits, including “Emotions,” “Fantasy,” “Obsessed” and “Touch My Body.”
At the end of Mariah Carey Night, Ciara Miller and Brandon Armstrong were eliminated from DWTS, marking the second week in a row the show ended with a shocking elimination.
Celebrities still competing on season 35 include Tatyana Ali, Tyler Cameron, Jenna Dewan, Ezra Frech, Amber Glenn, Maura Higgins, Jackson Olson, Guillermo Rodriguez, Harry Shum Jr., Julia Stiles and Connor Wood.
24/30 was the early high score for Mariah Carey Night, with three couples earning the score consecutively. One after the other, Ezra, Harry and Jenna each earned three eight paddles from the judges, marking Ezra and Jenna’s highest scores of the season thus far, respectively.
They held the top leaderboard spot until Maura and Mark Ballas took the stage, earning the first nine of the season from Carrie Ann Inaba. They performed a Waltz to “If It’s Over,” landing the highest score of DWTS season 35 so far, a 25/30.
Elsewhere, Guillermo and Witney Carson fell to the bottom of the leaderboard, scoring a 13/30 for their samba to Carey’s beloved “Obsessed.”
Ciara and Brandon performed a jazz to “Emotions,” and scored 21/30. Their scores matched that of Tyler and Sharna Burgess; Jackson and Emma Slater; and Julia and Ezra Sosa.
During last Tuesday’s Yacht Rock Night, Taylor Hanson and Britt Stewart were shockingly eliminated from the competition.
The couple with the lowest combined total of judges’ scores and viewer votes is eliminated at the end of each DWTS episode. Each viewer is allowed up to 10 votes per couple, per voting method (via ABC’s website and by text).
Live voting takes place during the East Coast airing of each show and ends shortly after the final performance; that means if you’re a West Coast viewer and want to vote, you must do so between 5 p.m. PT and roughly 6:45 p.m. PT, as voting ends after the final performance.
