Matt Rife Calls Sydney Sweeney Critics Garbage Losers
If you’ve been alive and conscious the last month or so, you already know Sydney has been a lightning rod for discourse recently. There was the whole American Eagle ad thing, which was such a big deal that the freaking White House felt the need to chime in.
Then, Sydney caused another social media dustup earlier this week after suggesting that women were the source of backlash against her bathwater-themed soap she sold in conjunction with men’s bodycare brand Dr. Squatch.
Well, one person has had enough with all the Sydney Sweeney backlash — and it’s comedian Matt Rife, who’s probably the last person you want to hear from about women period.
“I keep seeing people mad at Sydney Sweeney for noooothing,” he wrote on Twitter. “She’s learning that the internet is full of absolute garbage losers who will twist anything you say into a cunty misinterpretation…people are awful.”
Hmm. Can’t argue with the last sentence — although, what a way to put it. OK, moving on!
