Winnipeg police (WPS) arrested a 34-year-old woman in connection with a shooting on Toronto Street last month.
The incident happened on Sept. 18 when police say an altercation occurred outside a hotel on McPhillips Street between a group of people and a man. After the parties went their separate ways, police received a report of a drive-by shooting on Toronto Street shortly after. No one was injured.
WPS say a suspect vehicle was spotted nearby, and a woman was taken into custody. A loaded firearm and bear spray were seized from the vehicle.
After further investigation, police identified two additional suspects. One of them was arrested Monday during a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of Victor Street and Notre Dame Avenue.
Christine Alice Harriet Goodwin faces several firearms possession charges. She was detained in custody.
WPS are seeking public’s assistance in locating a third suspect, a 34-year-old man named Jason Fredrick Moar.
