Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is live TONIGHT (Sat., Oct. 10, 2026) with UFC Vegas 122, streaming live online via Paramount+. The event goes down inside the familiar META APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada. The main event tonight is Brendan Allen vs. Christian Leroy Duncan in the Middleweight division.
UFC returns to the APEX this weekend with a card very suitable for the surroundings. Up top, we’ve got a Middleweight clash with Brendan Allen vs. Christian Leroy Duncan. These two are both on decent win streaks, having cleared out some decent names (like this) over the past year. Both are pretty far on the outside looking in when it comes to the title picture (which may or may not involve Sean Strickland at this point).
The co-main event is Matheus Camilo vs. Jai Herbert. Yes, really. Camilo has had three fights in UFC thus far and won both. Herbert has been in the promotion for more than six years, but is yet to win two in a row. He’s also coming off a win.
Filling out the main card is Lupita Godinez vs. Ketlen Vieira, Andre Fili vs. Kai Kamaka III, Julius Walker vs. Gerald Meerschaert and Malcolm Wellmaker vs. Otari Tanzilovi.
The featured “Prelims” undercard bout is Francisco Prado vs. Ismael Bonfim. The undercard also includes Niko Price’s actual retirement fight (more on that here). He takes on Leon Shahbazyan. Rounding out the card is Felipe Franco vs. Brendson Ribeiro, RJ Harris vs. Allen Frye Jr., Darya Zheleznyakova vs. Alice Pereira and Ernesta Kareckaite vs. Melissa Gatto.

UFC VEGAS 122 PLAY-BY-PLAY UPDATES
Matheus Camilo vs. Jai Herbert
Round 1: Herbert has the forward pressure. He’s pumping his jab, but Camilo avoids it. Camilo blocks a head kick, too. Herbert lands a good straight right. Camilo is throwing calf kicks, mostly. Herbert is very light on his feet, though, so these calf kicks aren’t catching him flush. Camilo lands a big hook and that sends Herbert back a little. Camilo clinches him up. Herbert tries to push him down, but ends up getting stuck on the bottom with Camilo in half guard.
Round 2: Camilo a lot more aggressive now. He’s not staying at Herbert’s range. He gets inside, gets a bodylock and throws Herbert down. He takes the back. Herbert scrambles and almost gets on top, but Camilo rides it out and finishes on top. Herbert is almost up, but Camilo tangles him up and gets his back again. Camilo switches to full mount. Herbert gives up his back. Herbert keeps moving and ends up on top. Herbert postures up and tries to do some damage. He sneaks in some good shots. Camilo looks for submissions, but is giving Herbert lots of space to throw punches.
Round 3: Herbert comes out firing his straight right. Camilo clubs him with a counter hook, though. Herbert is being very busy with punches and kicks. Camilo looks a little tired. Camilo is bleeding from all these jabs. Herbert is taking the momentum now. He swings to the body and then lands another hard jab. Camilo’s head movement has disappeared here. Camilo lands a good looping shot and then tries to clinch on the fence. Camuilo tries to level change, but Herbert blocks him. Herbert turns it around and lands some knees. Camilo goes for that single leg again, but misses it and ends up underneath Herbert. That probably just decided this fight. Camilo pushes Herbert off with his legs, though, and gets to his feet.
Official decision: Jai Herbert def. Matheus Camilo by unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28)
Loopy Godinez vs. Ketlen Souza
Round 1: Two minutes in and no takedown attempts from Godinez. Souza lands some nice shots. Godinez should probably try and get this on the ground. Souza has her backing up. Godinez comes forwards and lands a good one-two. Then comes forwards and goes for a single leg, but can’t get it. Souza rocks her with an uppercut.
Round 2: Godinez is bloody and bruised to start the second round. She shoots on Souza against the fence. But Douza stays standing, pushes her on the fence and then hits her with a nasty shoulder strike. Souza is dancing circles around Godinez with her foot work and she is landing hard shots. Godinez lands some good shots, but Souza is brushing them off. The shots Souza are landing are taking chunks out of Godinez. Godinez gets her takedown finally, but Souza is able to stand right up.
Round 3: Souza lands a pair of hard short elbows. It feels like Godinez has gotten too deep into this dog fight and now can’t get out of it. Godinez gets a takedown and, this time, she’s able to turn that into some top position. Godinez lands some good ground and pound. Souza keeps her guard closed and seems committed to just riding this out.
Official result: Loopy Godinez def. Ketlen Souza by unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28)
Andre Fili vs. Kai Kamaka III
Round 1: Kamaka tags Fili with a nice combo, finishing with a body shot. Fili snaps his jab out there, trying to enjoy his reach advantage. Kamaka gets inside and pushes Fili to the fence. Fili lands some nice knees in the clinch before they separate. Kamaka does a good job of hitting Fili with combo as Fili tries to load up that jab. One of those jabs sneaks through though and makes Kamaka freeze for a second. Very close round to score.
Round 2: They trade punches early and then Fili lands a massive head kick that Kamaka did not see coming. Kamaka goes down, slowly, and is then stiff as a board. Wow.
Official decision: Andre Fili def. Kai Kamaka III by KO (head kick), round 2 (0:22)
Malcolm Wellmaker vs. Otari Tanzilovi
Round 1: Wellmaker jabs at the body early on. Tanzilovi is focused on leg kicks. Wellmaker manages to back Tanzilovi up to the fence. He doesn’t stick him with anything once he gets there, though. Tanzilovi is able to rumble forwards and land a good punch. Wellmaker walks him back, though. Tanzilovi is basically running away now, once he gets to the fence. Wellmaker is able to catch up to him, though. He finally lands something hard with Tanzilovi on the fence and gets him down. He throws ground and pound, but Tanzilovi survives, makes it to his feet, and lands a takedown. Wellmaker gets up, though. They clinch and Tanzilovi lands a good knee,
Round 2: Wellmaker has some swelling around one of his eyes. Tanzilovi shoots on him early, but gets stuffed. Tanzilovi then has a head kick blocked. Tanzilovi ducks under a punch and gets a body lock. Wellmaker manages to break free. Wellmaker throws a body kick, but eats a left hook. Tanzilovi throws the headkick again, Wellmaker gets a hand up, but it still drops him. Tanzilovi sneaks in a few punches before Goddard can call it off!
Official decision: Otari Tanzilovi def. Malcolm Wellmaker by KO (head kick and punches), round 2 (2:39)
Julius Walker vs. Gerald Meerschaert: Walker was just too young and athletic for Meerschaert. He manhandled him, put him on the ground and just battered him after he got him there. Meerschaert threw up an armbar at one point, but it became clear early on that Meerschaert is just not cut out for this anyone. He took his gloves off after this.
Official decision: Julius Walker def. Gerald Meerschaert by TKO (ground and pound), round 2 (3:35)
Francisco Prado vs. Ismael Bonfim: Prado came out with a point to prove in this one. He dominated Bonfim, who came in about eight pounds too heavy. He was beating Bonfim with his boxing, but then shot and got a takedown. From there he used ground and pound to break Bonfim and earn the stoppage.
Official decision: Francisco Prado def. Ismael Bonfim by KO (ground and pound), round 1 (4:23)
Niko Price vs. Leon Shahbazyan: Niko Price got his ride off into the sunset moment. He was given a lay-up by UFC, to make up for his weird retirement night in Seattle. Price came out aggressive and totally overwhelmed Shahbazyan. For the second fight in the row, Shahabzayan looks like someone who was pulled out of the crowd and has never trained a day of MMA in his life.
Official decision: Niko Price def. Leon Shahbazyan by TKO (punches), round 1 (1:58)
Felipe Franco vs. Brendson Ribeiro: After sizing each other up for a minute, Franco shot on a single leg and put himself right into a guillotine. Ribeiro slapped it on tight and kept hold of it as Franco tried to slam his way out of trouble. Ribeiro ended up mounted and Franco had to tap or go to sleep.
Official decision: Brendson Ribeiro def. Felipe Franco by submission (guillotine), round 1 (1:49)
Allen Frye Jr. vs. RJ Harris: Harris was landing heavy shots early on, with punches and leg kicks. But he was doing it all with his head in the air and his hands by his waist. Frye absorbed that punishment and then fired back, landing flush. He wobbled Harris and then chopped him down with a serious of right hands for the TKO win.
Official decision: Allen Frye Jr. def. RJ Harris by KO (punches), round 1 (2:59)
Alice Pereira vs. Darya Zheleznyakova: Pereira continues to look like a good prospect. She landed some hard stuff on the feet and then some hellbows on the ground. That ground assault opened up a massive cut. I’m surprised the doctor didn’t call it off after the first round. But when Jason Herzog asked Zheleznyakova if she could continue, she said no. I’m glad that didn’t go any further. That could have got a lot worse.
Official decision: Alice Pereira def. Darya Zheleznyakova by TKO (retirement), round 1 (5:00)
Ernesta Kareckaite vs. Melissa Gatto: I don’t know what was sillier, Gatto’s suicide throws of Kareckaite grabbing the fence in an attempt to stop herself landing in top position. Kareckaite lost a point for that boneheaded decision, with Chris Tognoni going straight to a deduction (love that). Kareckaite won the first two rounds with her striking. Gatto managed to get her down, and keep her there, to salvage a draw. She came close to a few submissions, though, including an armbar right at the death.
Official decision: Ernesta Kareckaite and Melissa Gatto fight to a majority draw (29-27, 28-28, 28-28)
