Experience, punch and fighting spirit
After several challenging seasons, Ludwig is determined to find her way back to the level that has made her one of the most recognisable riders in the women’s peloton.
Her climbing ability, explosive acceleration and attacking style make her a natural fit for the way Uno-X wants to race.
“She is a great climber with a good punch and a real fighting spirit, and she will strengthen our team,” Badegruber says.
“We really believe we can take the next step together and race for great results. We are very excited to see what the next years with Cecilie will bring.”
For Ludwig, the team’s identity and approach to racing were important factors in her decision.
“You can sense that Uno-X has built a really unique team spirit, and I am looking forward to becoming part of that,” she says.
“I love the way Uno-X races — with a huge heart and plenty of courage. It feels like the right match, and I can hardly wait to get started, race with the girls and begin the next chapter.”
