Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan Saif Ali Khan and his family have often shared glimpses of their holidays, offering a peek into their love for travel. But for the actor, travelling is less about ticking famous destinations off a list and more about stepping out of familiar surroundings and experiencing a different way of life. Saif says travel has always been an important part of his life because of the perspective it brings. The actor who’s come on board as the brand ambassador of Magnum by Safari, says, “I’ve always loved travelling. I think there’s something very enriching about getting out of your familiar surroundings and seeing how other people live. You experience different cultures, different food, different ways of looking at life, and it inevitably changes your perspective. I don’t necessarily travel just to see the famous places. I enjoy wandering around, discovering little things, meeting people, finding a good restaurant or just sitting somewhere and taking it all in. I think the nicest part of travelling is that you never quite know what you’re going to come across.”That sense of discovery also seems to extend to family holidays with Kareena Kapoor Khan and their children. While travelling with kids may require a fair amount of planning, Saif admits that the itinerary rarely remains completely intact once the family is on the road. “I think, inevitably, the plan goes slightly out of the window. You can have everything organised, but once you’re travelling with children, you quickly realise that you’re not entirely in charge anymore. And actually, that’s probably the fun of it. We tend to discover little rituals along the way — things we end up doing every time without really planning them. Those are often the moments you remember more than the itinerary,” he shares.
