Police are asking anyone with dashcam footage of a multi-vehicle collision that injured 13 people on Highway 99 Friday afternoon to come forward.
According to a Saturday release from the Surrey Police Service (SPS), the semi was travelling northbound on the 12200-block of Highway 99 in Surrey when it struck three sedans, who were also travelling northbound.
Police say the truck then jack-knifed, struck the median separating the north and southbound lanes, and went into the southbound traffic, striking another sedan and the bus.
Photos from the scene show the semi-truck hit a double decker TransLink bus. Police say the transit bus was carrying approximately 50-60 passengers.

SPS Staff Sgt. Lindsey Houghton believes there may be people who have dashcam footage that hasn’t been shared with police yet.
“We’re quite confident that there are a lot of people who have dashcam footage that have not yet reached out to police,” Houghton said, adding there were dozens of cars in the area at the time.
He said he is aware people have shared dashcam footage with local media or posted it to social media, and is asking people to share their footage with the SPS.
“The digital footage often is the missing piece of the puzzle that we need,” he said.
According to SPS, two people were taken to the hospital with serious injuries and 11 people were taken to the hospital in stable condition with less serious injuries.
Houghton said Saturday everyone has been discharged from the hospital.
