Alexandra “Alex” Eala will begin her Ningbo Open campaign against French player Diane Parry in the Round of 32.
Eala will look to bounce back after an early exit at the Wuhan Open, where she fell to Han Shi, 6-4, 3-6, 3-6. She also suffered a second-round defeat to Tatiana Prozorova at the Singapore Tennis Open, losing 4-6, 7-5, 6-3.
Parry, meanwhile, also exited the Wuhan Open in the first round, losing to Lanlana Tararudee, 6-4, 6-1.
