Tommy Fury is one up on Jake Paul in their in-ring feud, but still can’t seem to rid himself of “The Problem Child.”
It’s been over three years since Fury and Paul met in a boxing match, with Fury winning a split decision to stay undefeated and hand Paul his first loss. Prior to that bout, Paul was 6-0 with wins over a field of opponents that included former MMA champions Anderson Silva, Tyron Woodley, and Ben Askren, longtime NBA veteran Nate Robinson, and fellow influencer AnEsonGib.
Fury beating Paul didn’t settle their beef, which rekindled this past weekend when a clip went viral of Fury allegedly being removed from a Halloween event for being intoxicated and behaving inappropriately. Paul referenced Fury’s partner Molly-Mae Hague, writing on Twitter, “Molly-Mae runs a business, raises the kids and pays the bills. Tommy’s job was to not get kicked out of a haunted house. Couldn’t do it.”
See Paul’s comment and Fury’s response below.
“Well well well,” Fury wrote. “Look who can’t keep my name out their mouth. I’ll see you very soon buddy. Time to break the other side of your jaw. You fat tattooed prick.”
Paul has not fought since being knocked out by heavyweight star Anthony Joshua this past December. That bout left Paul with a broken jaw, as noted by Fury.
The two continued to exchange insults in subsequent messages, with Paul declining the rematch suggestion.
“Never happening,” Paul wrote. “Ship has sailed. You are daddy’s little girl who kisses boys instead of taking care of your own girls and kids.”
“Don’t ever mention my name again in that case,” Fury replied. “Enjoy the loss for the rest of your life you first class bum.”
Fury has continued to pick up wins since defeating Paul, including a win over KSI, another famous influencer, and Kenan Hanjalic in his most recent sanctioned outing to improve to 11-0 as a pro. He was tied to a potential boxing match with former UFC welterweight title contender Darren Till, but withdrew from that bout when Till threatened he might kick him in the head during the fight. Instead, Fury went on to an exhibition boxing match against strongman Eddie Hall this past June.
