The weather agency has placed the two cities under a frost advisory.

“Patchy frost is possible overnight into Friday morning, particularly for areas well inland from Lake Ontario,” forecasters said.

“Take preventative measures to protect cold-sensitive plants, trees, and crops. Cover up plants, especially those in frost-prone areas.”

No other parts of the Greater Toronto Area are currently under the advisory.
