Twenty years ago, Fran and Bernie’s daughter, Anne Bouffard and her husband, Jim Shea, purchased the business and have continued the legacy of offering affordable reading material and a great customer experience. Bay Used is Northern Ontario’s largest used bookstore and a most beloved local family business.

“There is a real sense of community here,” Anne Bouffard said. “It is thanks to our loyal customers and dedicated employees that we are able to celebrate 50 years of service.”:

Generations of family members have come to shop and many who no longer live in Sudbury make it a point of coming back every time they are in town. The store prides itself on offering great service by extremely knowledgeable employees.
