Roads are slick this morning around Edmonton following overnight precipitation that has continued into Friday.
A rain and snow mix is expected to last until Friday afternoon, with an overall precipitation of around 5 to 10 mm is to be expected.
Additionally, winds are expected to range between 30 km/h and 50 km/h, with wind gust potentially getting up to 70 km/h.
Friday’s high is expected to reach 3 Celsius with an overnight low dropping to minus-2 C.
Over the weekend, Edmonton is expected to see sunny weather, with a high of 3 C on Saturday, and a an overnight low of minus-7 C, before dropping to a high of 1 C on Sunday, and a high of 4 C on Monday.
Snow is expected to return on Tuesday evening and continue into Wednesday.
